IBM Spectrum Protect Plus is a modern data protection and availability solution that simplifies VM and file backup and recovery for VMware and Hyper-V environments and database backup and recovery for both virtual and physical environments. Role-based access control (RBAC), REST APIs, and space-efficient snapshots combine to enable self-service data access. A Google-like, global search capability makes it easily to find files, databases, and VMs. IBM Spectrum Protect Plus can be implemented as a stand-alone solution or integrated with Spectrum Protect to offload copies to on-premises object storage, tape or the Cloud for long-term retention.
